More about Triple-B and Chief Historian Phil Pratzner

I started Triple-B Driving Tours LLC because I was motivated to present public history beyond the platitudes, diving deeper into the stories yet keeping it fun and refeshing. With my Air Force experience of nine different joint/allied operational planning events in a variety of theaters–Europe, Korea, the Middle East, Africa, and the Pacific–along with my experience as a technologist, I aim to expose fellow explorers to challenges that warfighters face. These topics include coaliition and joint warfare, logistics, intelligence, technology integration, and command-and-control. Although far from casual, I present these subjects, not normally covered in other tours, in simple and lively ways during our various tours. We believe you will come away from a Triple-B driving tour more informed and more motivated to learn about the people and events on the Hampton Roads peninsula who shaped our nation–gained from a great experience!
Below is a robust, but not exhaustive, list of the credentials I have acquired and maintain to keep Triple-B the sort of public history business that you go to for history tours. Thanks so much for trusting us!
